About

The VUW Handball Club is the main source of everything handball at Victoria University of Wellington. We strive to promote the game to students and non-students alike, share our love of the game, and provide a place for fellow handball enthusiasts to play in a social and competitive nature. We are also a tight-knit club with various social events throughout the year. The club is open to students and non-students as well as any level of player and experience, from absolute beginners to seasoned veterans.

The “Vic Uni” club has both a womens and a mens team (with the ambition of fielding two men sides this year!) with the sides competing in the Wellington Regional League, as well as national tournaments in Auckland, Palmerston North, Christchurch, Taranaki, Queenstown, etc. We also play beach handball over the hot summer months.
